A SERIES OF FOUR BOTANICAL TOURS

This 2009 botanical tour series offers garden enthusiasts an opportunity to learn about the native plants of this region and historical specimens of Mission San Luis Rey. Botanist and Mission Executive Director, Friar James Lockman, is your host and guide. Participate in one, two or all four, of the sequential tours in this series.

The "Last Judgment" returns to San Diego to complete the conservation treatment. Four other pieces lent from the Mission San Luis Rey Museum collection to the exhibition "Arts of the Missions of Northern New Spain", which opened in Mexico City this past April, continue on to the exhibitions next venue at the San Antonio Museum of Art.
