Founders Day at the Old Mission is an opportunity to explore the museum, experience the private inner gardens of the Old Mission, take a behind the scenes tour, and enjoy live entertainment, all at no charge. People of all ages can participate in a free lady bug release at 10 a.m. in the rose gardens, a perfect way to help keep the gardens thriving, naturally.
In addition, a delicious benefit BBQ lunch is available for purchase, and the gift shop will offer a 10 percent discount on all purchases. A Mission Plant Sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. offering a variety of succulents, native plants, and annuals to spruce up a summer garden.
