Museum Lends Artwork To Northern Californ...

On loan to the University of San Francisco, Thacher Gallery, are four pieces from the San Luis Rey Museum collection. The exhibition, “Galleons + Globalization: California Mission Arts and the Pacific Rim,” connects the dots in the pan-Pacific trade loop that the Manila galleon voyages created from the late 16th to early 19th centuries, opens August 20 through December 19, 2010.
