Dia de los Muertos, or “Day of the Dead,” is an all-day community event taking place on Sunday, October 28th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Dia de los Muertos is a special event with diverse cultural traditions, remembering and honoring deceased loved ones. Over twentyfive-thousand attendees will enjoy the largest festival of its kind in San Diego County.
This will be the fourth year the Mission hosts to this 12th annual event and this year Tri-City Medical Center is an official event partner.
The Mission will come alive with entertainment, carnival rides and vendors at this FREE family-friendly event! Your children will be entertained all day with a variety of craft activities and exciting carnival rides.
You won’t want to miss out on over 75 diverse vendors, traditional food, chalk cemetery, and a classic car show showcasing trunk altars put on by the Por Siempre Car Club. Free Admission; Parking on Sunday $5 per car.
